The challenge

WWF-Australia approached CCE requesting professional development training in Cultural Intelligence and Unconscious Bias. The WWF-Australia team wanted to realign their hiring practices to ensure managers and emerging leaders were made aware of common mistakes made in building a diverse workforce and to learn best practice tips for building cultural intelligence and identifying moments of unconscious bias.

Our solution

CCE, in collaboration with our facilitator Sean O’Toole, was able to deliver our Cultural Intelligence and Unconscious Bias course to meet the training needs of WWF-Australia.

Sean delivered the training face to face in Sydney, providing the staff of WWF-Australia with relevant practical examples that the staff encounter every work day.

The outcome

The course feedback from the WWF-Australia team was very positive, their staff felt that the facilitator was a very capable presenter and they were left wanting to learn more about other related areas like Emotional Intelligence.

Staff have spent time after the course reflecting on their leadership style and recruitment practices and have started to make conscious changes.

"Our staff thouroughly enjoyed the course undertaken with CCE and many of our staff have reported that the course has helped them to realign to the cause of WWF-Australia, which is to help build a future which people live in harmony with nature. "
