The challenge
NBCUniversal ANZ identified an opportunity to further enhance its management team's skills in project management methodologies. With a growing number of new and innovative projects on the horizon, leadership recognised that strengthening project management capabilities would boost efficiency and ensure seamless project execution. For example, the Human Resources team, managing a variety of initiatives and deadlines, identified the potential for more structured processes to help prioritise and complete projects more effectively.
This marked NBCUniversal ANZ’s first introduction to the Scrum methodology. NBCUniversal ANZ selected CCE due to the credibility and brand recognition of the University of Sydney, which added value to the training and qualification.

View profileThe outcome
NBCUniversal ANZ’s employees have started applying the Scrum principles from the training. While tangible metrics have not yet been measured due to the short time span since the course, participants provided positive feedback and expressed their intention to apply the new methodologies to their projects. The training has already boosted morale and motivated participants to engage in future projects, with an expected increase in efficiency and effectiveness. NBCUniversal ANZ anticipates that this investment in practical training will lead to greater job satisfaction and retention in the long term.
“We thoroughly enjoyed our training with CCE. The facilitator was passionate, engaging and brought the course material to life. All participants left the training feeling invigorated and with some very useful and relevant skills to aid in their role performance.”
