Italian

Italian. Learn Italian with us.

Italian is a Romance language spoken by about 70 million people worldwide. Standard Italian, based on the Tuscan dialect, was adopted by the state after the unification of Italy in the 19th century. Italian is closely derived from Latin and is also the language of the opera. Through learning Italian you will also uncover the unique culture of the country in its food, fashion, arts and history.

Our beginners Italian classes are suitable for people who have no prior knowledge of the Italian language, while subsequent courses progressively increase the complexity of language concepts. If you want to learn to speak Italian, our Italian courses are ideal for adult learners to enjoy a practical and social experience while you learn Italian language and culture. Learn Italian the smart way with Italian courses at CCE, the University of Sydney.
