The challenge

Writing on behalf of a financial firm requires communication skills that are clear and effective. ASX-listed firm Credit Corp sought training to enhance these skills.

Our solution

CCE’s facilitator Stephanie Oley met with Credit Corp to discuss their needs and to analyse various current examples of their writing. This revealed various strengths, such as the team’s genuine commitment to customer service, along with opportunities to improve logical arguments and to edit for conciseness. From this, Stephanie worked closely with the client to customise the course book and main exercises to suit Credit Corp’s context. Three online workshops were delivered for Credit Corp, allowing staff to attend from several Australian cities.

The outcome

In each session, staff reinforced their understanding of what makes good writing, and their ability to achieve business objectives with effective written communication. They also enjoyed collaborating over case studies and group work during the sessions.
