The challenge
The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) Corporate Learning and Development team identified a demand for change management skills within their organisation. Through a thorough training needs analysis, it became apparent that there was a specific skills gap that needed to be filled. With changes taking place within the Department, it was crucial to equip their staff with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate transitions effectively. Seeking a training partner that could address these needs, the DVA turned to CCE based on their expertise and ability to provide tailored training solutions.

Our solution
In collaboration with the DVA, CCE facilitated a training program tailored to the organisation's specific requirements. The DVA's Corporate Learning and Development team took an active role in selecting a set of CCE courses that were then adapted to their context. The curriculum focused on key aspects of change management and was delivered by an experienced facilitator who ensured the content remained pertinent and engaging for the participants. The training sessions were designed to empower the DVA staff with practical strategies and tools they could apply directly in their roles.

"I enjoyed the facilitator's style of communication, the engagement he created with individuals and the group. I will be applying the content to my stakeholder engagement skills. Highly recommend the course for those who want to be effective change leaders"
“The facilitator was really natural and supported an open and calm learning environment, by challenging our thinking, using humour and using real examples for us to test our learning. As an introductory course to data visualisation, this course gives the grounding for further development in the use of data storytelling, if desired.”
