The third level of the second year program, this course is suitable for those who have completed all levels of Brazilian Portuguese up to 203 or 145 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.
Outcomes

- prepare for a job interview in Portuguese
- talk about your capabilities in a professional way
- write a basic essay
- determine the appropriate verb tenses to use in specific contexts.
Content
This course covers the following topics:
- present subjunctive mode usage
- compound verbs in subjunctive usage
- prepositions
- conjunctions
- writing an essay
- idiomatic expressions
- collectives
- further job interview preparations
- introduction to Brazilian contemporary writers.
Intended audience
Suitable for B1 level students, those who have completed all levels of Brazilian Portuguese up to 202 or those who have completed 145 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.
Delivery
Delivered as a series of interactive workshops where active participation is encouraged.
