Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

The third level of the second year program and suitable for those who have completed all levels up to 203 or 145 hours of recent face to face tuition.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  2. Talk about you and your capabilities in a professional way.
  3. Write a basic essay.
  4. Determine appropriate verb tenses to use in specific contexts.

  • Compound Verbs in Subjunctive usage
  • Prepositions
  • Conjunctions
  • Writing an Essay
  • Idiomatic Expressions
  • Collectives
  • Further job interview preparations
  • Introduction to Brazilian contemporary writers

Intended Audience

Suitable for B1 level students, those who have completed all levels of Brazilian Portuguese up to 202 or those who have completed 145 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.

Delivery

This course is delivered as a series of interactive workshops where active participation is encouraged.
