LinkedIn is the world’s premier business network with over 550 million members representing the largest group anywhere of influential, affluent and educated people. With more business-to-business leads than any other social network, understanding how to use LinkedIn to position yourself as an authority, generate leads and ultimately grow your business is essential.

As LinkedIn is a professional network, we will show you the best practices when utilising this platform from setting up your account correctly, to using the search function and connecting with other members, through to creating compelling content and setting up your Company page.

Whether you are just starting out or you have been using LinkedIn for a while, this course will give you the proven strategies, insights and tools that you can apply to your business regardless of what industry you are in.

This course aims to show you:

  • what you need to do in order to position yourself in your industry/niche

  • The 5 critical elements of a profile and why are they so important to your success on LinkedIn – how to set it up
  • How to use the LinkedIn search function from basic search to advanced search techniques
  • Best practices when connecting and communicating on LinkedIn that generate an increased positive response rate
  • The 5 different types of content that you can post on LinkedIn and best practices for each
  • How to create a content calendar – what types of content to post and the best times to post it
  • Resources and time-saving tools for creating, curating and posting content and recommended uses
  • Setting up a Company Page
  • Joining Groups and how to engage in those communities
  • Strategies for generating quality, targeted leads on LinkedIn

Intended audience

Suitable for anyone with a business-to-business product or service looking to generate quality, targeted leads. You could be new to LinkedIn, or want to learn how to maximise LinkedIn effectively.

Prerequisites

No prior experience is necessary, but you do need a LinkedIn account in order to participate.

You will be provided with course workbook inclusive of templates and cheat sheets (electronic copy).

Bring your own device

You are required to bring your own device (Windows or Mac). You should ensure your device is fully charged as access to power is limited.
