This one-day Xero course is ideal for first-time Xero users who aspire to run a small to medium sized business on the cloud.
You will learn how to set up a Xero file and use all aspects of Xero, saving you valuable time and freeing you up to grow your business. We will teach you how to automate your files so that Xero does the heavy lifting, and you can attend to what is important in your life, other than paperwork and bookkeeping.
Aims
This course aims to empower you and give you the knowledge to run your business accounts efficiently and effectively on Xero Cloud based accounting software.

Intended audience
This course is intended for first time users of Xero Accounting software who wish to manage the operations of small to medium-sized business. Those transitioning from other accounting software platforms to Xero will also find this course beneficial.

Delivery style
Face-to-face classes
These classes run in a classroom and you need to bring your own device (Windows or Mac). You should ensure it is fully charged as access to power is limited. Please note that the University does not carry any responsibility for your lost, stolen, or damaged devices whilst on the University premises.
You will be provided with a temporary Xero account for use during the course.
Online classes
You will need your own device (Windows or Mac) with internet access. You will be provided with a temporary Xero account for use during the course.
Materials
At the start of the course, you will be guided on how to set up a Trial Xero Subscription. We will then import data to customise the file, so that we have real-life data to work with.
