Carolyn Loton has a wide range of practical marketing, sales and business development skills gained through her own strategic marketing consultancy and her previous work at some of Australia’s largest consumer goods companies, including Simplot Australia, Goodman Fielder and Nestle. She has worked in both sales and marketing roles on many market-leading brands including Nanna’s, Herbert Adams and 4N’20 Pies, Edgell, Leggo’s, Birdseye, Uncle Tobys and Country Cup. Her original background was in the health sector.

In 2006 Carolyn founded Juntos Marketing. She now works with a range of small, medium and large businesses in both the product and services sectors to develop practical marketing plans, systems to improve marketing efficiencies and implement marketing activities effectively.

Her clients include Lush Handmade Cosmetics, The Cancer Council NSW, EDAW AECOM, NSW Department of Industry and Investment, Promotional Sampling//5iveSenses and Nestle Australia. Carolyn holds a Master of Business Administration from Edinburgh University, as well as a Diploma in Marketing and Bachelor of Applied Science. Darren has worked in a diverse range of roles in both the public and private sectors and has been running a successful consultancy for over 15 years. Mr Costa Loucopoulos is and English and drama teacher/tutor/lecturer. He was the 2011 recipient of the NSW Professional Teachers Council award for outstanding professional service in drama. He has been teaching the subject for over 22 years, including being Drama Method Tutor/Lecturer at The Universities of NSW and Western Sydney. He is currently enrolled in a PhD at The University of Sydney, where he has also lectures and tutors in Education and The Arts.

Costa’s key interest is developing students' critical awareness, writing skills and participation in civics. He has also been training teachers both here and overseas for over four years and consistently receives good feedback for his practical and well resourced courses.

Jo-Anne is a specialist in management with more than 20 years of industry experience in the public and private sectors. She has more than 15 years experience in teaching adults and on the job training. She developed and delivered training for many government departments such as the ATO, RTA, Centrelink and ADI and has written, delivered and developed resources for the NSW Premier’s Department for cross agency delivery. She has also provided training services to corporate clients such as Chep, Cleanaway, David Jones, IBM, Woolworths, CSR, Hewlett Packard, Tomago Aluminium, BHP and Coca Cola Amatil, along with many small businesses.

Dr Georgina Loveridge is an experienced HSC English marker, Senior English Teacher and Assistant Head of Department (English Stage 6). Georgina holds a Graduate Diploma of Education from the University of New South Wales, a Doctorate in Philosophy (English) and a Master of Arts (Coursework) both from the University of Sydney.

Jia Lu has extensive experience as a Chinese language teacher. A key part of her approach is her personal belief that creating an interactive and enjoyable learning environment is very important for adult language learning. Through her teaching, Jia Lu focuses on facilitating students to gain an understanding of language as well as establishing a good foundation of abilities in self learning; the two key elements that enable adult learners to memorise what they have learnt from class. This dual method is a proven way of encouraging students to make progress in their studies; by ‘building on’ instead of ‘losing out’ on what they have learnt in class.

As a trilingual (Chinese, Japanese & English) speaker, language teacher and translator, Lu Jia draws from her own experiences of learning languages to offer a creative and student-centred approach. Everyone learns differently, so she is keen to discover each student’s strength and maximise it to help overcome their weaknesses in language learning. Imagination and creativity are seen by her as an essential part of this process.

Betty was born in Vietnam, migrated to Australia in 1991 and has been working in the Health Service for 20 years. She is currently working as a Vietnamese Health Education Officer in South Western Sydney Area Health Service. Betty has a special interest in teaching Vietnamese language. She holds a Diploma of Interpreting (1998) Accredited as Interpreter Level 2 (NAATI) since 1999 and was a SOCOG Language Specialist at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. She has a Certificate in Communicative Language Teaching from the University of New South Wales (2001), was a teacher at Green Valley Vietnamese Language School (2000 – 2003) and is a member of the Vietnamese Parent Committee of Green Valley Vietnamese Language School (2003 – present).
