From the Yuwaalaraay people with roots in Sydney’s inner West and country NSW, Nardi is a celebrated performer and musician of fifteen years experience. Completing a Diploma of Music at the Eora Centre in Redfern and a Bachelor of Arts from Sydney University, Nardi plays, writes and sings in folk duo ‘Stiff Gins’, is the creative force behind the Language Revival Performance Project ‘Freshwater’ and children’s band 'Aunty Wendy’s Mob'. Nardi is heavily involved in the teaching and learning of Gamilaraay also, facilitating and administering both community and university courses for Gamilaraay language students in Sydney. A recipient of the Centenary Medal for Services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Culture, Nardi has been a regular facilitator, public speaker, mentor, and community representative on artistic and cultural events in Sydney over the last fifteen years.Toni Sinclair

Aim is an award-winning educator with 10 years of experience in teaching in higher education. Prior to joining the University of Sydney in 2015, she worked for the World Bank, a Toronto-based investment bank, the governments of Thailand and the Czech Republic, and New York State Democrat Party (campaigning and fundraising). Her work experiences have spanned over 11 countries in 4 continents and she continues to consult for various international agencies on business and politics in the Asia Pacific. Aim was awarded ‘Excellence in Teaching’ in 2017 and was named an ‘Emerging Female Leader’ in 2018 by the University of Sydney. She is the co-founder of the Sydney Cyber Security Network, which brings together academics, practitioners and students across multiple disciplines to find solutions and drive policies on cyber security in Australia and beyond. She regularly appears on media, such as CNBC, SBS, ABC, Al Jazeera and Channel News Asia, providing commentaries on issues of politics and social media in Asia.
Aim holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of British Columbia (2014) with a major in Comparative Politics and Political Economy. She also holds a Masters of Arts in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in International Relations and Slavic Studies from Connecticut College. Aim has taught undergraduate and postgraduate subjects in political science, research methodology and social sciences. Her current research focuses on the impact of digital media on politics and society, analysing and visualising digital data and Internet governance. She is multi-lingual and strongly believes that one must learn a language through its culture and history, not Google Translate.

Judge Ellen Skinner was admitted to the legal profession in 1999, having graduated from the Australian National University in Arts and Law. Judge Skinner has served as Managing Solicitor at the Aboriginal Legal Service and worked at the ODPP and Legal Aid. Judge Skinner was appointed to the Bench in 2009 as a magistrate and was the youngest magistrate ever appointed in New South Wales. Gabi is a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney Business School where she studies responsible innovation and the commercialisation of quantum technologies. She is a researcher on the Quantum Meta-Ethics project at the Centre for International Security Studies and works with a multidisciplinary team at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation on their Quantum Readiness project. Gabi collaborated with KPMG and the Sydney Quantum Academy on Australia’s first ‘Responsible Quantum’ roundtable and discussion paper and led an event series with the Sydney Quantum Academy to facilitate interdisciplinary quantum engagement.Judith Sleijpen

Judith Sleijpen graduated from Ryde School of Horticulture with distinction in Urban Horticulture, and gained experience in the retail nursery industry for several years.
As a member of the Horticultural Media Association, Judith writes a monthly gardening column for Peninsula Living and Northshore Living. She has also published articles in Landscape Contractor and Manager, Better Homes and Gardens, Gardens and Outdoor Living and The Garden Gurus.
Passionate about garden design, plants and bees, Judith is a member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture, a former member of the Sydney Executive Committee of Open Gardens Australia, and the Speakers' Bureau of the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Judith now conducts her garden design and horticultural consultancy business, Gardens, Balconies and Beyond.
Michael Smee

Michael Smee is a graduate of Sydney University, majoring in Greek and Latin and past President of the University Classical Society. Michael holds a Honours degree in Classical Greek, including studies in Archaeology, Philosophy and History in his B.A. degree. Upon graduating, he studied at the British School of Archaeology at Athens and later completed a Dip.Ed at the University of Geneva. Additional degrees, completed while teaching, include a Bachelor of Divinity degree from the University of London and an M.A. in Greek from the University of Adelaide.Lynn Smith

Lynn Smith is an exhibiting artist, tutor, mentor and photobook editor. He has two Masters degrees in photography: a Master of Documentary Photography and a Master of Fine Arts. His MFA research paper is entitled “Longing and the city: the emergence of Street Noir”. Lynn is one of the most experienced street photography tutors in Australia. He’s tutored face-to-face courses since 2009 in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, as well as a course online.
Lynn’s 5Ps of Street Photography are a unique contribution to instruction in the genre.
Prior to becoming a practising artist Lynn spent 25 years in advertising. He worked as a copywriter and creative director in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Auckland, Jakarta and New York winning a number of major international awards for his creative work.
Each year Lynn edits a book of the most impressive student work under the title Street Photography with Lynn Smith (available via blurb).
In 2017 Lynn edited (and contributed work to) 11 Top Street Photographers, a collection of images created by prominent artists based in Australia, Belgium, India, Israel, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, Turkey, the USA and Vietnam (available via Amazon).
