Suitable for those who have completed all levels up to 201 or who have completed 120 hours of recent face to face tuition. Various reading material will improve your reading and writing abilities by introducing gerund verbs as well as the use of conditional and subjective clauses and the use of conjunctions.


  • Verbs: Gerunds and gerundives, uses of the supine.
  • Syntax and other: consecutive (result) clauses, conditional clauses; use of the subjunctive in main clauses; uses of the conjunctions cum and dum; connecting relatives; clauses of fearing; impersonal verbs; intransitive verbs in the passive'.

Students should read the upcoming material before each meeting, and complete the set exercises for homework. This is an essential part of learning and revising.

Based on Chapters 42–49 of the above text. The text is used for activities and forms the basis for consolidation and practice.
