In the Generative AI Masterclass, an interactive, online workshop from Sydey Executive Plus, you will learn how the technology works and to use the current generation of Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, DALL·E and Midjourney.

Aims

This 3-hour workshop will explore the fundamentals of Generative AI: how does the technology work, what are its limitations and risks, and how can it be used productively in the workplace. Participants will experiment with prompt engineering in text generating and image generating AI tools.

This is an interactive session, so to get the most out of it you should register for ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. To ensure you have access to Generative AI tools, we recommend you register for Microsoft Copilot before the session begins. These free tools will allow you to use GPT-4 and DALL·E during the session.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Describe Generative AI, including capabilities and limitations
• Identify suitable use cases for Generative AI in the workplace
• Use prompt engineering with tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney to create useful outputs
