Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

This course consolidates your four language skills: listening; speaking; reading and writing. It continues to develop your vocabulary skills through various reading, writing and speaking exercises.


By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • recognise the noun- adjective agreement
  • recognise the perfect tense agreement
  • increase your vocabulary by an additional 1500 words
  • learn additional expressions spoken on specific occasions
  • handle a job interview, a visit to the doctor and a visit to a flight centre
  • write a report or an article about famous public figures and a congratulatory wedding card.


This course covers the following topics:

  • job interviews
  • wedding celebrations
  • visiting the doctor
  • famous women
  • travelling
  • once upon a time
  • noun- adjective agreement
  • perfect tenses
  • possessions
  • derivation of nouns from verbs
  • passive participle
  • nominal sentences.

Intended audience

Suitable for B2 level students, those who have completed all levels of Arabic up to 402 or those who have completed 345 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.

Delivery style

Delivered as a series of interactive workshops where active participation is encouraged.


Resources will be provided to cover all topics.
