There are myriad data analysis methods, including: data mining, text analytics, business intelligence and data visualisations. There are also many software applications, coding languages and other tools that can assist in your data analysis practices.

Data analytics refers to specific tools and techniques used in data analysis. Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics are specific analytics tools that also contain their own structure, methods and techniques for analysing data.
