Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

This course aims to consolidate and develop students' knowledge previously gained, as well as introduce more complex Spanish language structures which will allow for expression of feelings and opinions. Suitable for those who have completed all levels of Spanish up to 404 or who have completed 395 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.


Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Contrast and compare the Spanish way of life in the past to nowadays.
  2. Revise emails.
  3. Follow a food recipe.


This course covers the following topics:

  • Discussing and consolidating the use of past tense
  • Discussing health
  • Vocabulary for describing objects
  • Discussing how to use the future tense
  • The present tense of the subjunctive
  • The use of conditional and the imperfect subjunctive
  • Discussing health
  • The use of text connectors

Intended Audience

Suitable for advanced B2 level students, those who have completed all levels of Spanish up to 404 or who have completed 395 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.

Delivery Style

This course is delivered as a series of classroom-based workshops which include group activities and group discussion. Parts of the course will be conducted in Spanish as part of the overall training strategy.
