Samuel Tensingh is an Associate Lecturer at the School of Biomedical Engineering in the University of Sydney. He has 13 years of experience designing Digital Integrated Circuits for Avago Technologies, Broadcom Limited and ST Microelectronics in Singapore, where he worked as a Senior Physical Design Engineer. He has multiple certifications from Cadence Design Systems. His experience is mainly in RTL-GDS Implementation, delivering numerous ASIC designs in his career.
Samuel holds an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Anna University, India. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an active member of 35 Technical Societies across the globe. He has reviewed papers and chaired sessions in more than 10 IEEE conferences and holds seven patents for IoT projects.
Samuel published a paper titled “Methodology for Structured Data-Path Implementation in VLSI Physical Design: A Case Study” in Electronics, an MDPI Journal, 2022, and an article “Importance of Security in IC Design” in the Singapore Semiconductor Voice magazine by the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association, 2019. He also received a Technical Merit Award for the paper “A Novel Approach in Security Implementation and Clock Tree Synthesis using ICC2” in SNUG, Penang, 2018. He is passionate about sharing his expertise with students and professionals and has delivered Guest lectures in more than 100 international platforms on VLSI design, IoT, and cybersecurity.
Judy Tenzing

A dedicated Indophile Judy Tenzing made her first visit to India in 1976. On her return she changed her university major to South Asian Studies and has made her life’s passion her career, working variously as a tour leader, Himalayan mountain guide and administrator in the region for over twenty years.á Judy runs a tour company, Tenzing’s Journeys in Sydney which offers specialist tours in Nepal, India, Tibet, Burma and Bhutan. I was a high school Vietnamese literature teacher in Vietnam for ten years (1977 – 1987), and was also a Team Leader of Social Science Team (1982 – 1987). In 1990 I came to Australia to study Bachelor of Commerce. In 1997 I graduated from University of Western Sydney. I had been working there as a casual tutor of Statistics for Business, Business Modelling, and Biometry for 15 years (1996 – 2011). Currently I am a Vietnamese teacher from K-6 of Vietnamese Cultural Incorporated Schools in Sydney on Saturday at Canley Vale Public School NSW. Oren Thaler is a graduate of the Hebrew university in Jerusalem in Middle East Studies and Jewish Philosophy. He is currently doing a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict studies in Sydney university, focusing on the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Oren has been working in Education in Jerusalem for ten years, as a teacher and as a facilitator in Jewish-Arab programs. He is currently living with his family in Sydney and teaching in Emanuel School.

Deborah Thomas is a psychologist in private practice, specialising in the treatment of weight-related issues with emphasis on the treatment of binge eating disorder, night eating syndrome and general overweight and obesity. She is currently writing a book on the psychology of weight loss and regularly presents her work at conferences in Australia and overseas. Warren Thomson was educated at Wesley College and the University of Melbourne where he studied with Roy Shepherd, a pupil of Alfred Cortot. He has had an active career in conducting, performing, broadcasting and lecturing and has undertaken numerous study tours to investigate music education in Europe, Japan, South America, the USA and the former Soviet Union. Professor Thomson has extensive experience in the secondary and tertiary education areas and, as the Foundation Head of the School of Extension Studies at Sydney Conservatorium and Director of Studies, Australian Music Examinations Board, he developed a wide ranging framework for Professional Development Courses for music teachers and students throughout the country. He has also organised and conducted numerous workshops and in-service courses for music teachers and students, including over 350 Courses at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music for teachers. He has performed over 1200 new piano works for teachers and given broadcasts on piano teaching. In 1989 he was the first Australian to be invited to present a paper at the Annual Conference of the Music Teachers' Association of the United States of America.
He has given Masterclasses in Singapore, Ukraine, USA, Hong Kong and The P.R.China and was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for services to music in 1987.
He has had some 51 editions published as well as 34 recordings of piano music for teachers and students.
