Graeme Gherashe

Graeme has 40+ years' experience as a line executive, coach, mentor and consultant. He has worked in Australia, Asia, the UK, Africa, Europe and North America, and holds qualifications in Psychology and Pure Mathematics, and an MBA.

As an in demand consultant, coach, facilitator and guest speaker, Graeme has worked with a number of companies across a range of industries including government, media, finance, pharmaceuticals, the arts and professional services. As a consultant, Graeme has provided consultancy services in strategy design and execution, organisation alignment including design, policy setting, talent management and culture change, and delivered team strategic planning workshops.

In addition to his consulting services, Graeme has worked with a number of leading academic institutions on the design and delivery of customised executive education. These include London School of Business (LBS), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), INSEAD Business School, Wharton, Columbia Business School, AIM Business School and UNSW.

Yona Gilead is the Malka Einhorn Modern Hebrew Program Coordinator and Lecturer at the department of Hebrew, Biblical and Jewish Studies, University of Sydney. Her areas of research are in second/foreign language (L2) learning & development, MH pedagogy, and Hebrew literature.

David Gill

David Gill runs youth self-development workshops and teaches classes in academic literacy, film editing and writing. He also moonlights as a copywriter, editor and proofreader. David brings a creative approach to his teaching and aims to make learning fun. He loves sharing his passion for education with others and watching students grow in confidence and knowledge.

Talia Gill

Talia’s background in linguistics (BA Hons., first class) combines with a genuine passion for sharing her knowledge and insight into language use. This has led her to a career in communications consultancy and training.

In teaching, Talia’s main interest is helping people to adjust to new communications contexts. This includes equipping students who are new to university study with core academic literacy skills and helping international students to acclimatise to the specific communication demands of our education and professional systems.

Steven Glass

Steven Glass is a Partner in the law firm Gilbert + Tobin. He has practised for 26 years, specialising in commercial litigation. For 11 years Steven has led the firm’s pro bono refugee practice. He has been a regular visitor to Christmas Island and other detention centres to represent asylum seekers. Steven is a Board member of the Asylum Seekers Centre.

Damian John Gleeson

Damian has 20 years’ experience in face-to-face and online undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He is an accomplished educator with clear communication and intuition skills. Damian is a common-sense thinker, and his welcoming and down-to-earth style resonates with students and colleagues. He is a passionate and engaged educator with excellent interpersonal communication skills and a mentor to students.

Damian has researched and written new curriculum in leadership, management, business and strategic communication, ethics, corporate governance, public relations, crisis communication, and published in interdisciplinary academic fields. This academic experience builds on senior roles he has held in NFP, corporate organisations and higher education.

Libby Gleeson

Libby Gleeson grew up in country NSW and was educated at the University of Sydney. She began her career as a full-time writer after years of travel and teaching young people and adults. She has published picture books, short stories and novels for very young children and adolescents. She has won the Prime Minister’s Multicultural award for her picture book Big Dog, and the Children’s Literature Peace Prize for her novel Dodger. Her most recent work for adolescents is Refuge. She has been shortlisted for the Children’s Book Council awards eleven times and won their 1997 Junior Book of the Year award for Hannah Plus One. In 2000 she was awarded the exclusive Bologna Ragazzi prize in Fiction for Infants for her book The Great Bear, the only time an Australian book has won this award. Her most recent books are Making Picture Books and Cuddle time.

Mavi believes that people are the ultimate marketing instrument. She strongly values growth in individuals and believes that change for the better is always possible through continuous education. Mavi is currently working as a Research and Evaluation Manager in Management Consulting and holds a PhD in Marketing from Monash University. She has received awards for teaching excellence in business courses. In 2017, Mavi appeared on SBS National Radio a number of times, as a presenter on the topic of Research in Employee Engagement and Burnout. She is also a reviewer for the Journal of Business Research, a publication supported by the American Marketing Assoc.
