Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

This course covers advanced Arabic material including verb conjugation and quadrilateral verbs agreement while introducing some intermediate elements of writing and speaking.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Conjugate the present, past and future tenses with all persons.
  2. Recognise the Common Quadrilateral Verbs agreement.
  3. Increase their vocabulary by an additional 1500 words.
  4. Employ additional basic expressions spoken on specific occasions.
  5. Interact with native speakers on topics which are familiar, without strain for either party.
  6. Write a simple, connected text on topics which are familiar, or of personal interest.

  • Verb conjugation
  • Common Quadrilateral Verbs

Intended Audience

Suitable for B2 level students, those who have completed all levels of Arabic up to 304 or who have completed 295 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.

Delivery Style

This course is delivered as a series of interactive workshops where active participation is encouraged.

Resources will be provided to cover all topics.

Selected Language and Culture courses that teach spoken language may include use of language immersion (course instruction in the selected language) as part of the training strategy.

Features
