Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

This French course is part of the fifth year French program at CCE and is suitable for those who have completed all levels of French up to 502 or who have completed 445 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • talk about your cultural tastes
  • conduct an interview
  • give your impressions
  • propose a program to a friend in an email
  • participate in a debate: speak, hold the floor and cut the floor.

This course covers the following topics:

  • la découverte d’artistes français et de leurs œuvres
  • les spectacles et critiques de spectacles

Intended audience

Suitable for B1 level students, those who have completed all levels of French up to 502 or who those have completed 445 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.

Delivery style

Delivered as a series of interactive workshops where active participation is encouraged. Each session is conducted in a friendly and relaxed classroom setting.
