Alan is a highly experienced and passionate change management professional with extensive international experience across multiple industries.
Alan’s has delivered complex, cultural, technology and business process transformations within previous roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, UNSW, NBN Co as well as Federal and State government. He is currently change director at the University of Sydney.
Formerly NSW Director of the Change Management Institute, Alan has delivered keynote lectures on the future of corporate transformation and created and delivered change management courses and workshops. He is a qualified PROSCI Change Management practitioner and holds AGILE & PRINCE2 project management accreditation.
Anthony Harris

Anthony Harris is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Psychological Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sydney, a senior staff specialist psychiatrist for the Prevention Early Intervention and Recovery Service in the Western Sydney Area Mental Health Service and the Director of the Clinical Disorders Unit at the Brain Dynamics Centre, Westmead Hospital.
After completing training as a psychiatrist in Sydney, Anthony worked as a consultant in the area of psychogeriatrics in the United Kingdom before completing research work at the Zentralinstitut für Seelische Gesundheit in Mannheim, Germany in the field of psychophysiology. On return to Australia, he has worked in clinical and administrative positions in the Wentworth and Western Area Mental Health Services in Sydney before specialising in the field of early intervention in psychosis. His principle research interests centre on the psychophysiology, neuroimaging and treatment of psychosis and schizophrenia. This work, which he has principally carried out in the Brain Dynamics Centre at Westmead Hospital, has included establishing a large database in the psychophysiology of people with psychosis (first episode psychosis and chronic schizophrenia) and functional magnetic resonance imaging research into the perception of facial emotion in schizophrenia.

Geoffrey Hart has a BA, LLB degree from the University of Queensland and an LLM in Commercial Law from the University of London. After two years in practice he began teaching Commercial Law in universities and has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the past twenty years. He has co-authored three books on Commercial Law, including two books on Income Tax Law. Mr Hart is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Accounting at the University of Sydney.Julie Hartigan

Julie Hartigan BA Did Ed (Syd) MA TESOL (UTS) has extensive experience teaching and coordinating English literature and language at secondary, vocational and tertiary level. For the last six years she has also taught the Higher Level and Standard Level English A1 courses in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at MLC School and last year completed Level 3 training in English A1. Most recently she has taught Academic English to post-graduate international students at the University of Western Sydney and English Literature in the University Preparation Program at the University of Sydney.Clive Hartley

Clive Hartley has thirty years experience in the Hospitality industry. After studying at hotel school for four years full time he initially entered a career in Hotel management before branching off into restaurants and wine bars. Between 1983 and 1986 Clive jointly ran the award winning Hoults Wine Bar in South London as well as running the adjoining wholesale wine warehouse for two years. During this time he developed his love for wine and studied at the British Wine and Spirit Education Trust completing the Advanced Certificate and commenced studying the Diploma course before leaving for Australia.
Since settling in Australia Clive has continued to study and teach wine within the TAFE system first at East Sydney and now at Ryde. Clive has visited all the major wine regions within Australia. He has traveled extensively overseas and has visited wineries in New Zealand, California, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Greece and France.
Clive was awarded life membership of the Australian Sommelier Association for his services to the organization and development of the role of the Sommelier in Australia. He is also a member of the Australian Wine Communicators and was previously National Vice President of the Australian Society of Wine Education.
Winestate Magazine, Australia’s National wine magazine described Clive Hartley as “ A leading National Wine Educator”.
Since 1999 Clive has written for a number of magazines and journals. Currently he has a regular column -‘Wine Tutor’ in Australia’s National Winestate Magazine. Clive is the author of the Australian Wine Guide first published in 1999. This 180 page full colour book is an introductory book on wine aimed at the hospitality and wine enthusiast. The second edition came out in 2001 and the third edition was released in May 2004. The 4th edition was published in 2008. The guide covers Australian and International wine regions. He is currently preparing the 5th edition in late 2009 and 2010.
Clive Hartley is a full-time professional wine educator and Senior Head Teacher at Ryde College, Sydney. Clive has specialized in Australian and Italian wines educating both sommeliers and consumers. To deliver technically sound and up to date information to students in the field of wine he continually travels and makes industry visits around Australia and overseas.
In the past 2 years he has visited Portugal, Italy, Germany and France. He has attended international events such as the London International Wine Show and Vinitaly (Verona, Italy) on a number of occasions.
He is also acted as consultant and importer for leading retail stores and is currently guest Sommelier at Stefano Manfredi’s Bells at Killcare Restaurant.
He has completed a number of projects and consults to TAFENSW and the National Skills Council on wine related curriculum for Australia. He designed wine education courses for retail wine companies. He was responsible for developing the successful TAFENSW Wine Studies Course, Certificate III & IV in Hospitality for Sommeliers, Sommeliers Introductory Course ( in conjunction with the Australian Sommeliers Association) He successfully developed the Introductory and Advanced Italian Wine Courses that are delivered in Australia with the assistance of the Italian Trade Commission and Enoteca Italiana. In late 2007 he developed and established the Sydney Wine Academy and introduced Wine and Spirit Education Courses (WSET) at Ryde College.
Clive has extensive wine show judging experience including being International Judge at the Verona International Wine Competition (2007), judge at the NSW Wine Awards, Australian and New Zealand Organic Wine Show, and Associate Judge at the Griffith Wine Show. He is often a panel judge for Winestate Magazine tastings.
