Bronwen has over 10 years of experience with academic support and study skills for both school and university students. With undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in psychology and ESL teaching, and extensive professional experience in academic environments, Bronwen is well placed to understand the challenges and demands of university study.

Claude Jones

Resume

Originally from New Zealand, Claude Jones now divides her time between Sydney and Munich where she creates hybrid, mutant and anthropomorphized sculptures and 2D images that question our complex relationship with other animals. Jones has taught printmaking at The National Art School, Sydney College of the Arts, and at Rhode Island School of Design, USA. She has undertaken six international residency programs, has received several grants and awards and has exhibited widely. Her works are represented in numerous public and private collections.

Claude Jones is represented by Artereal Gallery, in Sydney and by Andenken Gallery, in Amsterdam.

Jacqui Jones

Jacqui has a Degree in Social Welfare and numerous qualifications in relation to teaching meditation. She is accredited by the International Meditation Teachers Association to teach adults. In addition, she has worked in education and training for over 10 years, including at UTS Business School and as a Capability Development Consultant for TAFE NSW.

Jacqui is also the Founder and Director of the Greatfulness program which is a wellbeing program delivered within primary schools all over Sydney. This is a Kidsmatter program, which is the mental health initiative of the Australian government. The Greatfulness program is also endorsed by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

Jacqui has a passion for meditation and believes that it has the power to transform lives, just as it has done with hers.

Angelina Joseph

Angélina is a graduate of the University of Paris III: Sorbonne Nouvelle, with an honours degree in Language Sciences and Literature. She also completed a Master 1 in French as a second language. Angélina has been teaching French for all levels, ranging from primary to senior high school and to adults, and has previously worked for a bilingual school for children (English/French) in North Sydney, a French cultural centre for adults in Sydney CBD, and Sydney Women’s College.

Gina Kang

Gina has a Diploma in TEFL from Vancouver Community College, Canada, where she developed her teaching methods and strategies. She completed her Master of Arts degree in Interpreting and Translation Studies at the University of New South Wales. Pursuing her love of language and education has shaped her career throughout her life. Gina is a volunteer teacher at a local community language school and a member of the Oceania Korean School’s Association. She used to teach at the Sydney Korean Culture and Language School (SKCLS) and currently working as a NAATI accredited interpreter and translator in the medical and legal fields.

Jenny Kapp

Jenny Kapp is a writer and educator on a mission to change the world a word at a time.

She currently teaches adults a range of IT, communication and writing subjects. In the past, she has worked as Training Co-ordinator for a Sydney-based not-for-profit organisation and has been engaged as a freelance journalist by organisations including ABC Radio.

Her abiding interest in English literature and its relationship to folklore, combined with too many late nights spent reading vampire books, watching vampire films and playing Dracula-based computer games, led her to come up with the idea for ‘Vampires Unearthed’.
