Fran Baxter
Profile
Frances is an intercultural educator who has designed and delivered learning programs for government, business, educators and teams across Australia and internationally. Â
Fran’s background is in Adult and Vocational Education, and she has spent two decades training trainers and assessors to work in the education and business sectors in Australia.  She is a graduate of the University of California’s Berkeley’s Centre for Intercultural Leadership, where she completed the Global DEI Practitioner Institute.   Fran holds an undergraduate degree, a Diploma and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, along with vocational qualifications in management and coaching.Â
Over the last 10 years, Fran has designed and facilitated government projects for clients including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Departments of Education in Tasmania, Victoria and Queensland, Wine Australia, and Victorian Trade and Investment, as well as corporate clients including St Vincent’s Hospital Group, One Steel, CHEP, and TSA. Â
Fran is a qualified administrator and facilitator of a range of intercultural and diversity and inclusion assessment tools, including the Intercultural Development Inventory, GlobeSmart, Global Competence Inventory and the Inclusive Behaviours Inventory.  She was CEO of AFS Intercultural Programs Australia, a global non-profit organisation, until 2020, when she co-founded Value Learning Pty Ltd, a consulting organisation focused on advancing individual and team capacity to work effectively and appropriately across cultural diversity.
