If you want to learn to speak German, our German classes are ideal for adult learners to enjoy a practical and social experience while you learn German language and culture. Learn German the smart way with German courses at CCE, the University of Sydney.

Suitable for those who have completed all levels up to 702 or who have completed 645 hours of recent face to face tuition. You should be able to understand the main content of complex texts and participate in discussions on specialised subjects.

Based on unit 5 from the prescribed text focusing on ‘Kompetenztraining 1’ and the history of photography.

Students will learn about the different types of technology throughout the history of cameras and lenses and the differences/similarities between the human eye and the camera.

Writing will be a focus in the part ‘Kompetenztraining 1’. Different writing styles and techniques will be topics for discussion.

We will cover advanced grammar from level C1 such as complex verb positions in relative clauses and passive voice.

We will also revise essential grammar and vocabulary from B2 Level. 

Delivery Style

The course is delivered as a series of interactive sessions where active participation is encouraged. Each session is conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
