James is an experienced, grounded, and highly engaging facilitator and coach. James is committed to excellence in all he does and develops the very best in the leaders and teams he serves. As a facilitator, James is highly intuitive, but also blends this with the latest science and research evidence to inform the learning experiences he designs. As both a facilitator and a coach, James’ strength lies in getting to the core set of issues the leader needs to prioritise and co-designing a skilful path forward for tackling them. 

James teaches leadership at the University of Sydney Business School, where he is a Senior Lecturer. James has also worked extensively with private and public sector organisations, co-designing and delivering high-impact leadership programs. Since 2012, he has worked with dozens of private and public organisations, including Qantas, Commonwealth Bank, the World Bank, IBM, Swisse Vitamins, Nous Group, Hall & Wilcox, UTS, the Commonwealth Treasury, Sydney Metro, and the Raise Foundation.

James has a PhD in behavioural psychology from the Institute of Positive Psychology & Education at the ACU, and a Master of Economics from the ANU.
