Andrew Berg

Andrew began his career in the Commonwealth Public Service, reaching a senior management level before embarking on a career change that aligned with his natural interests in financial analysis, problem solving and training. After completing his Bachelor of Actuarial Studies, Andrew left the Public Service and moved into professional services, focusing on actuarial analysis and modelling at PwC, before having the opportunity to work for Fitch Ratings. He then moved into M&A, where he became a Vice President at J.P. Morgan and then CitiGroup. During this time, Andrew worked on a number of significant transactions, including the sale of Wizard Home Loans and its multibillion-dollar home loan book to CBA and the successful $12.2 billion dollar establishment of the Westfield Retail Trust.

Andrew then re-joined professional services, at PwC and then EY, before joining ClayMatter. His role with ClayMatter has enabled him to focus on providing models and analysis, to answer clients' pressing questions and provide them with training.

Andrew has built dozens of models spanning virtually all sectors, and has personally designed and delivered financial modelling training for hundreds of people around the world.
