Anne-Marie Chazeau

Anne-Marie Chazeau

Anne-Marie is native of France and has been teaching French as a second language to adults since 2007. Her qualifications include a TAE 40110 and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and Theatre from the UK.

Anne-Marie uses her experience as an interpreter and a translator to sharpen the understanding of the variety of subtleness between languages. Her teaching is driven by her relentless quest to provide her students with tools for learning emanating from more than 2 decades of applied research. Fields of research encompass Advanced Learning, Neuro-Linguistic Programming as well as kinaesthetic learning. Her methodology is made successful by the high level of interactivity that takes place during class time as well as cultural notes which bring France into the classroom.

To palliate for the fact that classes are weekly, Anne-Marie uses exercises which put into practice what is covered in the books. Students get audio recordings to accompany the textbook exercises, designed to make the most of what has been learnt in class. At the end of term, her students revisit their newly acquired French using a board game she has especially tailored to help everyone practice in a playful and relaxed manner.
