With tertiary qualifications in Science and Psychology, Jackie Yammine has been managing offenders within Corrective Services NSW since 2004. Jackie has gained a variety of experience working with offenders in the community as a Psychologist, Community Corrections Officer, Unit Leader and Group Work Facilitator.

Jackie joined the Operational Community Programs Training Unit at Brush Farm Corrective Services Academy as a Learning and Development Facilitator in 2010 and has been developing and delivering operationally focussed training in relation to offender management.

In 2012 Jackie undertook the role of Project Officer for Indonesian Corrections with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She provided expert advice in offender management, developed and delivered training packages to assist staff in Indonesian prisons including programs for domestic violence and sex offending.

Jackie has a passion for working with domestic violence offenders. After developing the Working with Domestic Violence Offenders course in 2013 Jackie facilitated the course to CSNSW employees within the custodial environment and community corrections. The course received widespread acclaim and Jackie has since travelled interstate to facilitate the course to other jurisdictions. Her high level of expertise has been widely recognised and she regularly attends conferences which address all aspects of domestic violence. Jackie is an advocate of the White Ribbon Foundation and participates in activities that promote the work of this important social issue.
