A scrum master is the facilitator for an agile development team and manages the process for how information is exchanged. Agile is a methodology that allows a team to self-organise and make changes quickly – these principles are employed within Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®), an enterprise-scale development methodology.

Given today’s competitive marketplace, it is vital that organisations have the skills and knowledge to build high performing Agile teams. This course is in high demand for anyone wishing to work in software development, project management and/or business analysis.

Completion of this training course will enable you to take the Certified SAFe® Scrum Master exam.

Aims

This course aims to develop participants understanding of the benefits of a Scaled Agile Framework® and the role of Scrum Master in an enterprise, and additionally develop the skills and knowledge needed to build and coach high performing Agile teams.

Additional Information

CCE issues all course participants a Statement of Completion.

This course provides participants with eligibility to apply for 15 Professional Development Units (PDUs) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP, PgMP, and PMI-ACP certifications. This is awarded at the discretion of the external party.

Participants who would like to sit the online SAFe® exam for accreditation purposes can discuss this with the tutor during class time. The exam is taken in the participant’s own time (not included in class time) and is managed and awarded by a third party. The exam cost is an additional $125.
