If you want to learn to speak Polish, our Polish classes are ideal for adult learners to enjoy a practical and social experience while you learn Polish language and culture. Learn Polish the smart way with Polish courses at CCE, the University of Sydney.

Applies communicative methods and is suitable for anyone interested in learning to speak and understand Polish. Suitable for those who have completed 302 or equivalent, or who have completed 245 hours of recent face-to-face tuition or equivalent.


Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Express opinions about the weather.
  2. Give health advice.
  3. Describe their condition at a doctor’s appointment.
  4. Take part in conversations about sports.
  5. Maintain a phone call conversation.


This course covers the following topics:

  • The weather and seasons
  • Physical appearance and parts of the body
  • Adverbs
  • Sport and related verbs
  • Famous sportspeople in Poland
  • Gerunds


This course is delivered as a series of interactive workshops where active participation is encouraged.
