Level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

This course applies communicative methods and is suitable for anyone interested in learning to read, write, speak and understand Polish. Suitable for those who have completed all levels of Polish up to 203 or 170 hours of recent face to face tuition.


By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • describe items of your clothing
  • pay compliments related to general appearance
  • handle transactional conversations
  • describe features of your house
  • write a formal letter (e.g. to a real estate agency).


This course covers the following topics:

  • grocery shopping
  • buying clothes
  • plural genitive forms and expressing quantities
  • house and furniture
  • renting an apartment
  • prepositional phrases.

Intended audience

Suitable for A2 level students, or those who have completed all levels of Polish up to 203 or 170 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.


This course is delivered as a series of interactive workshops where active participation is encouraged.
