If you want to learn to speak Polish, our Polish classes are ideal for adult learners to enjoy a practical and social experience while you learn Polish language and culture. Learn Polish the smart way with Polish courses at CCE, the University of Sydney.

This course pplies communicative methods and is suitable for anyone interested in learning to speak and understand Polish. Suitable for those who have completed 102 or equivalent, or who have completed 45 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.


Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify different means of transport.
  2. Ask for and give directions to get from one place to another.
  3. Make travel arrangements.
  4. Request and give information related to travel.


This course covers the following topics:

  • Travelling (means of transport)
  • Asking for and giving directions
  • Making travel arrangements
  • Talking about popular tourist destinations in Poland


This course is delivered as a series of interactive workshops where active participation is encouraged.


You should have knowledge of pronouns, present tense of common verbs and should be able to form questions and negatives.
