Italian Course 403 (Level 15)

Italian. Learn Italian with us.

Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

This course covers the following topics:

  • summary/critique of personal, national and international events which occurred during the week preceeding each class
  • oral analysis of the language you use – correction and review of grammatical and syntactic elements which arise
  • You will be asked to prepare a written passage on a pre-established topic involving reading on the topic and commentary. This will be discussed in class and serves to expand vocabulary and encourage writing in Italian. The work done by students and the discussion in class will serve as a basis for review of grammar
  • film review – a segment of film will be viewed, interpreted and discussed to allow you to immerge yourself in its reality and its portrayal of Italian society and culture. This activity will exercise your comprehension of the language and visual cues in film and lead to discussion and commentary on various aspects of Italian social reality.

Intended audience

Suitable for B2 level students, those who have completed all levels of Italian up to 402 or who have completed 345 hours of recent face-to-face tuition.
