In order for businesses to compete in today’s market and stand out from the competition, an online presence is essential. This course offers an introduction to digital marketing. A workshop-style course with a hands-on approach, participants will be introduced to concepts and tools including Google Analytics, SEO, Google AdWords, and email marketing.
Aims
This course aims to introduce participants to the elements of digital marketing and equip them with the skills and resources to begin executing their own campaigns.

Intended Audience
This introductory digital marketing foundations course is suitable for small business owners and marketers with little to no online marketing experience who are interested in launching or redeveloping their digital marketing strategies.

Please bring along your own laptop (fully charged) as there will be minimal power outlets available during class. You will be provided with a course pack during class.
Prerequisites
Participants should have administrative access to their business website but no previous experience in digital marketing is required.
Materials
Please bring along your email login and password, as well as any other logins and passwords for social media and digital marketing platforms that you might already have.
