Widening Participation and Outreach (WPO)

The University’s Widening Participation and Outreach unit works with students from low socio-economic backgrounds, from rural and remote communities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds to promote participation in higher education.

CCE actively supports the objectives of WPO by encouraging CCE course participants to donate unused course credit, so that WPO’s students might attend one of our HSC preparation courses for free.

Since this program’s inception, over 100 WPO HSC students have attended our HSC preparation courses for free.

Free webinars

CCE offers a range of webinars, running quarterly and delivered via Zoom. Past courses include: Personal Communication in a Videoconference World with Michael Kelly and The Psychology of Resilience and Mental Stamina with Eleanor Shakiba.
